President and Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining Iron Bow - formerly Apptis Technology Solutions (ATS) - Rene was president of Northrop Grumman Computing Systems, a federal systems integrator. He began employment with Northrop concurrent with its acquisition of Federal Data Corporation (FDC) and led the transition and integration of the business. He previously held the position of senior vice president managing FDC's Systems and Technology Group.
Before focusing on the information technology industry, Rene spent 10 years with Ernst & Young in Los Angeles, CA, and Washington, DC, developing his financial and business management foundation in the public accounting, auditing and business advisory service markets. These experiences helped to shape and formulate his ability to analyze, assess and summarize critical business decisions and potential strategies.
Rene received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University in 1983. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He served as President of the Washington, DC Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants in 1993-94. Rene has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Technology Council of Maryland since 2002, and was a founding Member and Chair of the Prince George's Technology Council. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Prince George's Community College Foundation and Chairman of the Board at Doctors Community Hospital, and former board member of the Prince George's Chamber of Commerce and Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation. Additionally, Rene serves on several corporate boards and advisory groups.
Senior Vice President of Sales
During his career, Stu has worked with clients in virtually every major civilian, defense and intelligence agency of the U.S. Government, as well as many top regional businesses. This diversity of experience brings an understanding of the unique technology, timing and compliance needs of all Iron Bow Technologies clients — whether the goal is to drive missions or profits.
Prior to Iron Bow, Stu served as Vice President of Sales for ATS, where he worked with the sales team to develop business within federal government and commercial sectors. Before joining ATS, Stu served in sales leadership positions selling exclusively to the federal sector at Northrop Grumman Computing Systems and Federal Data Corporation.
Stu earned his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from James Madison University in Virginia.
Senior Vice President, Technical Operations
Marc has held senior management responsibilities in every phase of technology delivery, including marketing, business development, design, implementation, operations and support. This brings a broad perspective to Iron Bow's solutions delivery. He is committed to leveraging expertise and best practices in each area to ensure consistent positive client experiences and results.
Prior to Iron Bow, Marc served as Vice President, Public Sector Services & Programs for ATS where he managed a $20 million program portfolio delivering IT services and infrastructure support to defense, civilian and commercial clients.
Before ATS, as Senior Director of Northrop Grumman's Networking & Security Services organization, Marc led the growth of consulting services business to over $35 million in annual revenue. He has also held senior management or technical positions at PRC, DynCorp, Wang and Martin Marietta.
Marc achieved a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management with a secondary concentration in Business Management from the University of Maryland.
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to Iron Bow, Charlie served as Senior Vice President of Finance for Apptis, Inc. He also held positions as Vice President of Finance at Mantech and Controller at GTSI. He began his career at Price Waterhouse, where his clients were primarily in the Information Technology or Government Contracting sectors, including IBM Federal Systems and American Management Systems.
Charlie is a Certified Professional Accountant and achieved a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from James Madison University.
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Lance has over 25 years of legal government contracting experience, with a focus upon all aspects of contract formation, administration, and disputes resolution. Most recently he was the senior counsel supporting Federal business for Cisco Systems, Inc. He previously served as counsel to BearingPoint, Inc., and as a trial and appellate attorney in the Commercial Litigation Branch of the United States Department of Justice. Lance also worked in private practice and served as a Law Clerk at the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals.
He currently serves as an Associate Editor of the Public Contract Law Journal, published by the American Bar Association, Section of Public Contract Law.
Lance holds a J.D. degree from the George Washington University Law School, and an A.B. degree in political science from Syracuse University.
Chief Technology Officer
During his career, Jim has been Director of Development responsible for the building and deployment of data centers and managed services across eight states, Director of Operations in the telecommunications industry and ran his own company specializing in optimization and data availability.
Prior to Iron Bow, Jim managed a team of engineers for EMC working with the Army and DoD agencies to design and deploy virtualization, storage infrastructure, security, data management and COOP solutions.
Chief Information Officer
Prior to Iron Bow Technologies, Ray served as the CISO for Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and as the Director of IT for the Institute for Defense Analyses. Ray also held senior level positions at Kennametal, Computer Sciences Corporation, and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Ray currently holds the CISSP and CISM information security certifications; he earned a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Norfolk State University.
Vice President Professional Services
Darryl possesses over 30 years of U.S. Federal experience spanning general management, sales and professional services within industry to Military communications, strategy and operations in the United States Marine Corps.
Darryl joined Iron Bow Technologies in November 2013 following a distinguished 10+ year career with Cisco where he lead in various roles to include Director of Service Sales, Director of Advanced Services to include operations and delivery management for Departments of Defense, Systems Integrators and Federal Civilian Agencies and Departments. Prior to joining Cisco Darryl retired from the United States Marine Corps in 2003 following a distinguished 21+ year career.
Darryl holds a Master of Science degree from the Naval Postgraduate School in Information Technology Management and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota in Economics.
Vice President, Human Resources
Throughout her career, Debbie gained a broad skill set as a business partner and consultant, focusing on providing effective leadership in the area of Human Capital management. Her experience has focused largely on providing leadership to companies experiencing extensive change and growth, translating business needs into highly effective human resource initiatives. Debbie’s qualifications include providing leadership to global organizations with multi-national human resource functions.
Educated at George Mason University, Debbie is recognized as one of a select few individuals in the world to hold both the highest honors in U.S. and Global Human Resources.
Director, Marketing and Communications
Following the divisional split from its parent in 2010, Josie was an integral player in building the marketing department responsible for the rebranding effort of Iron Bow Technologies. Her efforts in this rebrand would help position this newly formed organization to become a recognized leader in the marketplace. Today, Josie leads the marketing and communications team, which is responsible for maintaining and elevating the Iron Bow brand and message in the marketplace.
Pioneering Iron Bow’s social media presence, Josie has gained industry recognition for Iron Bow as a thought leader through content on its digital publication, TechSource that sees over 4,000 visitors each month. These efforts landed TechSource coveted spots on FedTech’s 50 Must-Read Federal IT Blogs. In addition, Josie’s media efforts have brought industry accolades from Washington Technology, Bloomberg, CRN as well as consecutive years of superior performance recognition from vendor partners for highest year-over-year-growth, provider of the year, partner of the year, and excellence in customer satisfaction, being among the many other well-respected awards. Most recently, the marketing team was awarded Marketing Innovator of the Year at Cisco’s Partner Summit for their work in developing TED (Telehealth Education Delivered), which continues to drive telehealth education to Iron Bow customers nationwide.
During the past year, Iron Bow has established a Healthcare Solutions division that delivers teleheath solutions to the commercial marketplace with the MEDiC™ and the CLINiC™. Josie leads efforts to establish and promote the brand, partner marketing programs and go-to-market strategy for the division which provides flexible hardware platforms and service offerings ranging from installation through 24x7x365 customer support.
Josie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Minor in Human Resource Development from James Madison University. In addition to her leadership role at Iron Bow, she has sat on the marketing advisory councils of leading technology companies such as Cisco, Dell, and Palo Alto and is actively involved in Iron Bow’s Women in Leadership group.
Vice President and General Manager, DoD and VA (West)
Prior to Iron Bow Technologies, John served as Vice President, Regional Operations for Apptis Technology Solutions (ATS) where he managed sales, services and infrastructure support to defense, civilian and commercial clients.
Before ATS, as Executive Director West Region of Northrop Grumman's IT CS organization, John led the growth of the West Region business from $13 million to over $200 million in annual revenue. He has also held senior management positions at GE Capital Federal Systems and GTSI.
General Manager, DoD (East) and Intelligence
In his current role, John is responsible for over $250 million in revenue across the global defense markets, encompassing the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, DISA and Special Operations. His has been pivotal in establishing the company’s strong position on ITES 2H as well as winning business in support of PENREN and the Army Active Directory (AD) rollout.
Prior to Iron Bow, John led top performing teams as the Army District Manager at EMC. He joined EMC from StorageTek where he served as Director of Federal Sales. John also worked at Honeywell, Martin Marietta and CERDC Edgewood Arsenal.
John holds a MBA in Finance from Loyola University Maryland, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Maryland, and a BA in Physics from McDaniel College.
General Manager, Commercial Sales
Prior to joining Iron Bow, Bill served as the Regional Security Sales Director for ePlus Technology, helping to build a Security focused practice around products and services throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions of the U.S. Previous to this, Bill worked in a variety of sales and operational management roles focused around rebuilding previously problematic customer relationships and/or organizational structures at companies including TEOCO, Sprint/Nextel and WorldCom/MCI.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Syracuse University.
Director, Inside Sales and Sales Operations
Prior to Iron Bow Cindy held Inside Sales Representative (ISR) positions at Logicon FDC, Northrop Grumman, PlanetGov, and Apptis, and ISR Manager at Apptis Technology Solutions. She also served in a business development role for Presidio.
Cindy earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a Minor in Management Studies from University of Maryland University College. She is also a Certified Internal ISO Auditor.
General Manager, Healthcare Solutions
Currently, Scott serves as the General Manager of Healthcare Solutions and is responsible for the overall management and delivery of telehealth solutions supporting the commercial marketplace, including flexible hardware platforms, a variety of consumption models and services ranging from installation through 24x7x365 customer support.
Prior to his current role, Scott served as the General Manager of Civilian, and was responsible for the strategy, management, and delivery of information technology solutions in support of U.S. government Civilian agencies.
Scott also previously served as Iron Bow’s Director of Partner Alliances, where he grew and led the team responsible for Iron Bow’s strategic technology partnerships. Iron Bow has earned countless and consecutive years of superior performance recognition from manufacturer partners for highest year-over-year-growth, partner of the year, and excellence in customer satisfaction among the many industry-respected awards.
Having been with Iron Bow Technologies, previously Apptis Technology Solutions (a subsidiary of Apptis), through its rebrand, Scott has been part of the growth and success of the organization. Before joining Iron Bow, Scott held Strategic Alliance positions with Northrop Grumman and began his career at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center in ADP and Satellite contracting.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).
Director, Partner Alliances
Prior to Iron Bow, Nicole spent 17 years in the Information Technology industry working in a variety of functions including support services, channel sales, partner marketing and management. Previous positions include Vice President of the HP Alliance at a technology provider and an eight-year career at GTSI (now UNICOM).
Nicole achieved a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Saint Elizabeth.
Currently, Patrick serves as Director of Civilian for Iron Bow Technologies and is responsible for the strategy, management, and delivery of information technology solutions in support of U.S. Government Civilian agencies.
Prior to Iron Bow, Patrick led top ranking sales and engineering teams at Vidyo, Cisco and TANDBERG in Regional Manager and Federal Channels Director positions. Additionally, he held positions with both Comstor and Bell Atlantic.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from James Madison University and has an active TS/SCI government clearance.
