Chantilly, VA – February 20, 2013
Iron Bow Technologies LLC, an information technology solutions provider, today announced that President and CEO, Rene LaVigne, has been named a 2013 Minority Business Leader honoree by the Washington Business Journal.
The Minority Business Leader Awards honor the Washington area’s top minority business leaders and owners who exhibited outstanding performance for their companies within the last 12-18 months. LaVigne is one of 25 business leaders in the Washington region to win the prestigious award which recognizes top level corporate executives and advocates of diverse backgrounds who play a strong leadership role outside their jobs and serve in industry associations or community organizations.
“I am honored to receive this recognition for my efforts throughout our communities and in the industry. It is due, in great part, to the support of the exceptional team at Iron Bow, that I am positioned to make the various contributions with my time and to have achieved the noted success with the company,” said LaVigne. “I have a strong belief that contributing to the enhancement of one’s community, both personally and professionally, is an inherent responsibility of all of us.”
Honorees will be celebrated at the sixth annual awards ceremony on March 21, 2013, at The Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C.
