Apptis Technology Solutions Rebrands as Iron Bow Technologies

January 26th, 2010

Chantilly, VA – January 26, 2010

Apptis Technology Solutions (ATS), a division of Apptis, Inc. (Apptis), formally announced today it has rebranded as Iron Bow Technologies. The new name and brand for ATS, which has a preeminent role as a leading technology solutions provider and value-added reseller will more clearly distinguish it from Apptis, one of the leading systems integrators, which will continue to operate as Apptis. ATS’ key differentiators in the value-added reselling community relating to network infrastructure, communications, data center infrastructure and unified computing will be seamlessly transitioned to the Iron Bow Technologies brand. Iron Bow will leverage the ATS heritage as a strong and flexible partner that delivers solutions precisely on target for each mission.

“As the federal IT marketplace enters a new decade, we are seeing a renewed emphasis on agility, flexibility and responsiveness, and this is precisely what Iron Bow will represent. Our longstanding relationships with proven partners and a track record of delivering trusted turnkey solutions to customers aligns with the government’s vision for a smarter approach to IT,” said Rene LaVigne, President and Chief Executive Officer for Iron Bow.

With hundreds of successful government implementations, ranging from unified communications projects for clients as diverse as the IRS and the U.S. Army, to Department of Defense data center management projects, to client computing projects for the U.S. Air Force, the Iron Bow team has earned the trust of those overseeing the most demanding IT missions in the world.

“In order to realize the benefits of a real-time infrastructure, agencies need an implementation partner that joins the call for a commitment to responsiveness and innovation,” said Stu Strang, SVP of Sales. “Whether agencies seek greener data centers or to collaborate more effectively in real time, they won’t find a more customer-focused and mission-centric partner than Iron Bow Technologies.”

Iron Bow cultivates partnerships with leading brands across multiple technology categories, enabling it to architect the appropriate solution for each implementation. Iron Bow has significant partnerships with Cisco Systems®, Dell®, HP, EMC®, NetApp®, VMware®, TANDBERG® and Polycom®, to name a few.

“For two decades our team has successfully cultivated partnerships with leading technology companies delivering successful solutions for our mutual customers. I attribute this to our integrity-first, service-oriented culture from the very beginning,” added LaVigne. “It goes without saying we feel the Iron Bow name is right on target.”
