Chantilly, VA – May 30, 2012
Iron Bow Technologies LLC, an information technology solutions provider, announced today that it has been awarded the Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) Network and Communications Equipment and Related Incidental Support Services contract by the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic.
The firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract has a one-year base period and four one-year renewal options. The estimated total value of the contract is $500 million. The COTS contract vehicle provides the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) with a streamlined process for procuring necessary advanced communications and IT equipment. Additionally, the contract offers support services that are essential to delivering mission critical data to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other Civil Federal agencies.
SSC Atlantic awarded Iron Bow with a second, separate multiple-award contract in June 2011. Together, the two contract awards exhibit the exemplary past performance and technical expertise that SPAWAR has come to expect from Iron Bow.
“Iron Bow has a long-standing history of providing defense agencies with best of breed technology solutions,” said Rene LaVigne, President and CEO of Iron Bow. “We are committed to providing SPAWAR with IT solutions that enable critical technology requirements and various forms of disparate communications seamlessly and punctually.”
Iron Bow is one of the few small businesses to offer a comprehensive portfolio of products and services from a team of unparalleled technology partners, along with resources such as skilled technical support, customer service and real-time program management.
