Iron Bow CSfC Services
Iron Bow provides services for all CSfC capabilities including design and deployment of CSfC solutions as well as periodic sustainment services to provide additional knowledge transfer and update clients on any CSfC changes. The sustainment services can also include assistance with the yearly NSA registration renewal. Finally, Iron Bow can also provide staff augmentation to assist in fulfilling CSfC operation support roles. This can be a short term augmentation as clients’ staff the roles for a more permanent solution.
The benefit of Iron Bow services is the combination of technical understanding of the CSfC components and our CSfC policy understanding of how the components must be composed and configured to meet CSfC capability package controls. This allows a CSfC solution to be deployed in the shortest amount of time with best practices implemented the first time. Iron Bow also maintains a CSfC lab for testing configurations and validating functionality while still meeting control requirements.
Iron Bow’s methodology stresses the importance of client education to ensure the benefits of CSfC are fully understood. This includes understanding the return on investment of a CSfC solution. After the initial education, Iron Bow designs the CSfC solution that meets technical requirements of the use cases and is easiest to support given the client’s operational expertise. The vendor selection in the design is focused on both technical capability as well as client operational expertise. After Iron Bow submits the solution to NSA for registration and it is approved, we design a solution deployment with required STIG and RMF compliance checks and finally Authority to Operate (ATO). Iron Bow provides multiple options for support in order to ensure that the deployed CSfC solution is successful.
The commitment to a successful CSfC deployment follows our company motto of “Customer first and mutual respect for all members of our community.”
Iron Bow is currently involved in multiple CSfC engagements – architecting, designing, testing, documenting, fielding and supporting CSfC solutions. Iron Bow can provide references and acknowledgements from NSS clients upon request.
Iron Bow has guided multiple customers through CSfC solution requirements and has worked through NSA registration for a number of them. Iron Bow uses a CSfC lab to provide further insights into the integrations between the vendors and various ease of use capabilities. Iron Bow has primarily assisted in Multi-Site Connectivity (MSC) and Mobile Access (MA) capability packages with Data at Rest (DAR) capability package included. Iron Bow sees the Campus WLAN capability package as an important capability and has implemented the solution in its CSfC lab.
