The Technology has Changed, But our Mission Remains the Same
Eight years ago, Iron Bow Technologies was born out of a desire to serve the federal and commercial markets with the most cutting-edge and adaptable IT solutions—all while creating an exceptional and inclusive environment where innovation and creativity thrive.
At the time, we chose the name Iron Bow to represent strength while maintaining optimal flexibility to collaborate with our customers for specifically tailored solutions.
Over the last decade, Iron Bow has done a remarkable job befitting those concepts. We’ve expanded in every way imaginable, personnel, revenues and capabilities, including the mastery of critical emerging technologies that we know will better serve our clients.
In just this past year, we’ve helped hundreds of clients achieve their mission and goals, been nominated as an industry innovator, received recognition as a top workplace, and continued to rank among the leaders in industry and partner rankings.
Leveraging a key philosophical trait, Iron Bow as an agent of change, has been fluid adjusting to and driving market innovation with technological advances that hadn’t existed just months ago. We’ve seen massive shifts in the needs of government and private sector clients with respect to business intelligence, satisfying constituent expectations, and overall accountability.
Concurrent with market transition and acceleration, we were fortunate beneficiaries of evolution on a number of fronts. Spawned from our efforts with the Department of Veterans Affairs telehealth initiative commencing almost a decade ago, after three plus years of investment, our commercial healthcare business flourished and was recognized as number one in the marketplace for hospital systems implementations of telemedicine as well as, recognition as innovator of the year for our flagship telehealth product.
Additionally, we expanded our geographical presence and offerings into the southeast corridor of the U.S., delivering call center as a service to a blue chip commercial customer in Tampa, Florida. The facility not only serves as a full-service operation for one of our clients but also created 175 new jobs and helped establish our presence as a member of the Tampa Bay-area community.
From the start, the leadership team here at Iron Bow wanted to create a place where we not only do meaningful work inside the office but also beyond the walls. In 2017, we brought that to life embracing, “What We Do Matters” which has become our rallying cry in support of everything we do.
Never too far from the communities we serve, we’ve made a conscious effort to embed ourselves in meaningful ways by driving team blood donations, running and walking miles for worthy causes, volunteering time and work effort, and donating individual and corporate financial resources to various charities supporting numerous causes—including paws4vets’ Assistance Dogs to hurricane relief efforts to Ronald McDonald House to the American Diabetes Association, just to name a few.
We plan to continue these efforts in 2018, growing our workplace culture to make it as accepting and inclusive as possible, because the environment in which we work always reflects outward. We’re already off to a good start, garnering a spot on the annual “Best Places to Work in Virginia” for the second consecutive year to further validate our recognition three consecutive years on the Washington Post “Top Places to Work”.
A great workplace creates great teams, and customers benefit from that kind of genuine energy, excitement and enthusiasm.
