Level Up Sales Internship (LUSI)
By joining Iron Bow's internship, you'll be part of a 10-week summer internship program that is specifically designed to provide you with education, experience, and exposure to the sales organization. We're looking for university students who bring an interest in a future career in sales, positive energy, and a commitment to win. As a summer intern, you will work with account managers and the marketing team to build pipeline from lead generation campaigns as well as support account managers with targeted program opportunities.
Level Up Sales Academy (LUSA)
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be immersed in an interactive sales training program that will allow you to learn about the latest technology advancements and how to effectively sell them to customers. A successful SDR will be trained to discover, build, and drive new opportunities with our customers and collaborate with the broader Iron Bow team to support our customers’ journey and business outcomes.
Learn from Iron Bow leaders, sales experts, and engineers in a dynamic, community environment. As you progress through the training, shadowing, and project-based experiences, you will move into a role that supports the pipeline growth of Iron Bow’s product, services, and support offerings to existing and prospective customers and partners via inbound activities and communications. As you progress in your role, there will be opportunities to move into the field sales organization as an associate account manager.

What qualifications do I need for this internship?
Currently, you must be a university student that has an interest in learning more about sales and technology. We look for those that demonstrate leadership, customer focused and entrepreneurial skills. As we expand our roles, there may be opportunities to hire interns that are outside the university scope.
What is the duration of the internship?
The internship is a 10-week program (June 5 – August 11, 2023) that will be based out of Herndon, VA. At this time, we are not able to provide relocation to the area.
Is this a paid or unpaid internship?
This is a competitively paid internship program.
What are the working hours and days?
It is a 40 hour per week internship. 4 days will be in office and Fridays will be virtual.
What will be my responsibilities during the internship?
Each intern will have unique projects working with several sectors of our business within sales.
What kind of training and support will be provided?
The intern cohort will have a new hire orientation along with high level training on sales and Iron Bow’s technology pillars. Additionally, there will be an executive speaker series, professional development series and activities that will add to the intern’s development. Dedicated management, mentorship and feedback will be provided throughout the summer.
Will I receive feedback on my performance during the internship?
Yes, you will receive feedback from account managers, leaders and dedicated management.
Is there a possibility of being hired after the internship?
Yes, there is an opportunity to receive a potential full-time position into our Level Up Sales Academy.
What is the dress code for the internship?

What qualifications do I need for this program?
- Undergraduate or graduate degree (BS/BA minimum) in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Economics, Finance or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Must be able to legally live and work in the country for which you’re applying, without visa support or sponsorship (student visas or visas obtained on your own are not applicable for the program)
- Must have a genuine interest in how technology can drive business outcomes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to collaborate with others and customers
