As we look forward to 2015, the government IT arena is headed into a year that will see an even greater rate of adoption of mobility and cloud computing than ever before. We will also see big data analytics fully coming to life, and a greater demand for cyber security solutions.
However, mobility will continue to be the game-changer for government with agencies determining how to best use these devices to enhance productivity and collaboration. As a result, new security vulnerabilities will also emerge. Addressing these challenges will be a key priority for government next year.
From a budget perspective, we will continue to face challenges in 2015. Many agencies with massive IT infrastructures will be looking to leverage their existing infrastructure to best utilize these new technologies—as well as tie it into mobility, cloud computing and security platforms—to overcome these challenges.
