Giving Tuesday 2024: Reflecting on a Year of Impact at Iron Bow

At Iron Bow, we believe in the power of action and the profound truth behind our tagline: “What We Do Matters.” This guiding principle shapes not only the innovative solutions we deliver but also the way we give back to the communities we serve. From supporting Veterans and families to responding to crises, here are some highlights of how our team worked together to create meaningful change in 2024.

April National Volunteer Month: Coming Together for Good

During National Volunteer Month, our team exemplified the spirit of service through partnerships with The Closet and Food for Others.

  • Packing Thousands of Essential Kits
Iron Bow employees came together to assemble and pack thousands of essential kits filled with food and supplies for local schools. These kits, loaded with care and compassion, help to ensure students don’t go hungry during the school year.
  • Supporting The Closet’s Mission
At the Closet, our volunteers stepped in to assist customers, organize clothing donations, and maintain a clean and welcoming space. From the sales floor to the backroom, our team worked diligently to ensure every visitor felt supported and valued.

Empowering Heroes at the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic

One of our favorite weeks this year has been the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic, where we had the privilege of sponsoring and participating in this inspiring event.

From volunteering on the slopes to supporting behind the scenes, Iron Bow team members were all in, ensuring a memorable experience for the incredible Veterans participating. Our VA Digital Health Team played a critical role in delivering seamless IT setups, allowing the event to run smoothly and focus on the heroes at its heart.

Paws4Vets: Breaking Records for a Life-Changing Cause

This fall, our annual Charity Golf Tournament raised a record-setting $71,000 for Paws4Vets. This incredible organization pairs Veterans with service dogs trained to provide emotional and physical support.

This milestone reflects the generosity and commitment of our employees, partners, and sponsors. Together, we’re helping Veterans reclaim independence and joy.

Hearts & Homes for Veterans: Supporting Heroes in Need

In collaboration with Hearts & Homes for Veterans, we continued our mission to assist homeless Veterans in Southwest Florida. Through this partnership, we are on track to deliver over 1,000 hygiene kits filled with essentials to those in need.

These kits symbolize more than just supplies; they represent our gratitude and commitment to supporting those who have served our nation.

Florida Hurricane Relief: Standing Strong with Our Communities

When hurricanes struck Florida this year, our team mobilized swiftly to organize donation drives for affected families. From basic necessities to funds for rebuilding efforts, our response highlighted the importance of community resilience and the meaningful role businesses can play in times of crisis.

Glammed Up for a Good Cause: Supporting Children's National Hospital

In November, we proudly sponsored the Children’s National Hospital White Hat Gala, a dazzling evening dedicated to raising funds for pediatric care and research. Iron Bow team members and partners donned their finest attire and came together to support one of the nation’s leading children’s hospitals.

What We Do Matters: Looking Ahead

As 2024 comes to a close, we’re reminded that “What We Do Matters” is more than a tagline — it’s a way of life. Every kit packed, dollar raised, and hand extended reflects the values that drive us to make a difference.

This Giving Tuesday, we invite everyone to reflect on how they, too, can contribute to their communities. Whether through time, resources, or simply showing kindness, together, we can amplify the spirit of giving and create lasting change.

Thank you to our incredible employees, partners, and supporters for making 2024 a year of impact.
