There will still be nuances at the individual agency level, but at the end of the day, everyone must have a plan, a way to roll it out, and everyone will get measured against their Zero Trust strategies.

With a common end goal for Zero Trust established across agencies, the government has set itself up for longer-term success, especially knowing that Zero Trust is a journey and not a quick sprint.

Zero trust is not possible if you don’t have a picture of what to do next in the face of an attack.
